Celebrating 50 years

This year is a very special year for Reading in Bloom as we are celebrating our 50th Anniversary, 1975-2025. This anniversary gives us the opportunity to celebrate the town’s success over the past 50 years and to look at the regional awards in which Reading performed so well.

Reading was awarded a prestigious Gold Award in the 2019 Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) 55th annual Britain in Bloom community gardening competition.

The judges visited the town and were impressed with the work that had been carried out to “unite communities, volunteers and gardeners.”
